Vicki “Kim” Wayman, MSW, LPCMH received her Masters of Clinical Social Work with Honors, from Widener University, Masters of Education in Counseling, from the University of Delaware, and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with honors, from Lynchburg College. She has been providing psychotherapy in our tri-state area for over 25 years. Kim’s areas of focus include general mental health for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Some of her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), addictions, co-dependency, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar disorder, grief, LGBTQ issues, chronic illness, and health nutrition. Additionally, she is trained in Mindfulness Meditation, and Emotional freedom technique (EFT). Kim draws upon the treatment modalities of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), mindfulness, person-centered, motivational interviewing (MI), energy psychology, and strengths based psychology. She works with patients to successfully overcome their personal challenges, improve their well-being, and achieve their goals.
