Rosa Reid is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained her undergraduate and Masters Degree in Social work from Long Island University with a concentration in Gerontology. She developed a passion for supporting elder adults to address their personal, social and environmental challenges. Rosa’s desire to help people later expanded from older adults to children, and adolescents. She has worked in various therapeutic settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and hospice, inpatient and outpatient services. Rosa has been a social worker for 14 years and is experienced in working with families and individuals 10 years old to adulthood. Rosa specializes in treating family change, grief, complex diagnosis, crisis intervention, depression and trauma, She incorporates a host of techniques such as goal oriented therapy, mindfulness, coping skills, behavior modification, positive thinking, and stress reduction.
