Dr. Jamie DiOrio is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Delaware. Dr. DiOrio earned her Doctoral and Master of Arts degrees in Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from The College of New Jersey. Dr. DiOrio has diverse outpatient clinical experience conducting therapy and assessments with children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience practicing in a variety of mental health settings including a private practice, community mental health clinic, inpatient hospital, as well as a treatment facility for substance use and co-occurring disorders. Dr. DiOrio has experience providing both individual and group psychotherapy.
Dr. DiOrio’s specialties include general mental health, depression, anxiety/panic, trauma, dissociation, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Dr. DiOrio is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which are evidence-based treatments for trauma and posttraumatic stress. Dr. DiOrio tailors her therapeutic approach to the individual needs of each patient. She takes an integrated approach to therapy by incorporating psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and acceptance/mindfulness-based techniques.
