Dr. Gaber Yacoub graduated from the University of Assuit Medical School in Egypt. He completed his residency in psychiatry through Temple University at the Delaware Psychiatric Center and at the University Of Kansas- Wichita, Department of Psychiatry.
Dr. Yacoub has practiced in several clinical settings, including family practice/ENT, Egyptian Army Hospital, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient services, Delaware Dept. of Corrections, and the VA Medical Center. Dr. Yacoub currently practices psychiatry with adults, specializing in Suboxone treatment at Mid-Atlantic Behavioral Health, as well as the Wilmington VA Medical Center.
He is certified by American Association of Psychiatric Medicine. He is also certified to prescribe Buprenorphine for Heroin dependence (suboxone).
