Cynthia Edwards received her Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Immaculata University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health, a Nationally Certified Counselor by NBCC (National Board of Certified Counselors) and is certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) by EMDRIA (EMDR International Association). Cynthia Edwards provides assessment and treatment to individuals (adults, adolescents) and specializes in anxiety/stress, including post-traumatic stress disorder, depression/other mood disorders, including bipolar disorder, serious mental health problems including self-injury, suicidal thoughts/attempts, hospitalizations, chronic/acute illness, women’s issues, relationship issues including separation/divorce, life transitions, work/career concerns. She worked for many years as a registered nurse in critical care and emergency room hospital units.
