Cheryl Wilson, LPCMH

Cheryl is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health and is Board Certified. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Spelman College and her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Wilmington University. She brings knowledge of diverse client needs from her work experience in a variety of outpatient settings; including, private practice, non-profit crisis intervention, and school-based wellness centers. Her clinical specializations include working with anxiety and mood disorders, grief, trauma, relationship issues, and codependency. She provides couples therapy and individual therapy to adults and adolescents over the age of 14, and offers an integrative treatment approach to meet unique client needs. She most often utilizes treatment models from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Cheryl takes great pleasure in assisting her clients in their efforts to achieve emotional growth and meet their therapeutic goals.
