Aroya is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She graduated from Delaware State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, and received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Widener University. She has previous experience with in-home family therapy working with children and adolescents as well as other members of the family that were experiencing emotional distress, mental health issues, and heightened behavioral issues. Aroya has also been trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
Aroya has experience in helping children, adolescents, and adults cope with and process stressful life experiences within their families, relationships, community, and within themselves. As a therapist, Aroya’s goal is to guide and empower her clients to be their best self through the use of self-discovery and expanding on the strengths that clients may or may not know they already possess. She takes a genuine and collaborative approach to therapy to ensure that the client’s needs are at the forefront of treatment.
