For some patients, the addition of either long-term or short term medication helps boost them to the next level of growth. Those with a chemical imbalance, for example, may need medication to stabilize their minds and then use therapy to help them along their healing journey.
In treatment partnership with the patient we use assessment results, therapist input and prescriber expertise to develop the most efficient and effective treatment medication treatment plan. As part of your treatment, you will be provided with the important information regarding the risks and benefits of all medications to aid you in making an informed decision about your care. After evaluation, you and your prescriber will establish a regular and ongoing appointment rhythm to review your progress and make any necessary adjustments.
